His music is known for mixing modern hip-hop styles along with classic rock. Prior to making the move to Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes between 2007 and the year 2010. With lyrics that were faster than bullet trains and a soaring voice, the Cleveland rapper saw a rapid rise to fame in 2011. The rapper went from releasing self-released cassettes, to being signed to labels. After that, his career skyrocketed as each of his albums charted within the top 10 albums.
