Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a newly formed theatre company. From 2014 to 2019, she served as artistic director for the Seoul Shakespeare Company. As SSC's Artistic Directors, Ash-Morgan was also in the roles of producer costume/set designers composer/music directors as well as text coaches. While she was usually the leader the acting group but in the final year of work with SSC King Lear, she was promoted to director and lighting designer. In addition to acting, she has also worked on a number of games shows. The daughter of the poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised alongside two of her brothers in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school of choice. She was a cheerleader. She studied briefly at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Post had been married before the wedding to Stephen Knox. Post has been married from 1982 on to Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer with who she has two daughters. She is a wonderful actress as well as an ideal wife and mother Post is an inspiration for many within Hollywood.
